Notifier is the alarm notification module of Lab-LINK. It is used to send alarm notification to users when alarms are detected by SmartAlarm module. Notifier support notification through various media including email, voice call, SMS and even fax. Notification can be send to different group of users based on the alarm group setting in SmartAlarm. Multiple alarm notification can be queued and sent sequentially based on the priorities of the alarms defined in SmartAlarm. Notification in the queue waiting to be sent can filtered to ignore repeated alarm, alarm with lower priority or alarms in the same alarm group.
